Job summary

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist to manage billing processes, including charge entry, claims, patient and insurance AR, and payments. This role supports a national scope with a Monday–Friday schedule 8am–5pm Pacific Time.

Applicants must reside in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX, or RI and have CPC certification; prior NextGen/Amkai billing experience is preferred. Strong accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years medical billing experience.
• CPC or other equivalent certification.
• Orthopedic coding experience a plus.
• Experience with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for billing accuracy.
• Process Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient payments and Insurance/third-party payments.
• Perform credit resolution for Insurance and Self-pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt; answer phones; support teammates as needed.
• Follow policies outlined during onboarding and handbook.
