Job summary

Proliance Surgeons, based in the United States, seeks a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to join our Revenue Cycle team. This role oversees charge entry, billing, claims, and patient/insurance AR, plus posting payments and credit resolutions from a remote location.

Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm PST. Applicants must reside in WA, FL, NC, AZ, ID, OH, OR, TN, TX, or RI to be eligible for employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years medical billing experience preferred.
• CPC or equivalent certification is required or preferred.
• Orthopedic Coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims prior to billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy prior to billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims and address edits/rejections.
• Post patient payments and post insurance/third-party payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Insurance AR management.
• Patient AR management.
• Process bad debt.
• Answer phones and support teammates.
• Follow all onboarding policies and handbook guidelines.
