Job summary

Proliance Surgeons seeks a Remote Revenue Cycle Specialist Assistant to oversee bill processes including entry, billing, claims, and AR duties. The role supports posting payments, credit resolutions, and other revenue cycle tasks from a home-based office across eligible states.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1–2 years medical billing experience, CPC or equivalent certification, and familiarity with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems. Full-time, weekdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPC or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with orthopedic coding is a plus.
• Experience with NextGen and Amkai Billing Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify information for claims before billing.
• Review surgical coding for accuracy before billing.
• Process primary, secondary, and tertiary claims; address edits or rejections.
• Post patient payments.
• Post insurance and third-party payments.
• Credit resolution for insurance and self-pay credits.
• Manage Insurance AR and Patient AR.
• Process bad debt.
• Answer phones and assist teammates as directed.
• Follow onboarding policies and handbook updates.
