Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics to lead a team of analysts, drive data-driven decisions, and partner with directors across Revenue Cycle to optimize revenue and operational performance.

The role emphasizes AI adoption, BI tooling, and collaboration with senior leadership to translate business needs into actionable insights while maintaining strong governance and reporting discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, data analytics or accounting required.
• 5+ years of healthcare financial management experience with revenue cycle operations.
• Progressive supervisory/management experience in healthcare finance.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, payer contracts and reimbursement terminology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate continuous performance improvement aligned with hospital performance targets.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual revenue cycle reports.
• Develop and monitor denial management reports and trends.
• Collaborate with directors to review targeted areas and identify root causes.
• Provide training on Epic, BI tools and reporting capabilities to managers and directors.
• Oversee BI dashboards in partnership with IR and ensure data-driven decisions.
