T. Rowe Price is seeking a Retirement Strategist to advance the firm’s retirement leadership by developing differentiated insights, creating market-facing thought leadership, and engaging with clients and industry audiences on key retirement issues.

This role will serve as both an external representative of the firm’s retirement expertise and an internal connector, bringing client and market perspectives back into the organization to help shape strategy, messaging, and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of retirement-related work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of defined contribution, plan design, and retirement trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex topics clearly.
• Experience developing thought leadership, strategic content, or research materials.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to meet clients and grow business.

Responsibilities

• Develop retirement research, insights, and thought leadership aligned to priorities.
• Create market-facing content and client presentations on retirement topics.
• Represent the firm in meetings and conferences as a retirement expert.
• Partner with distribution to support client conversations and opportunities.
• Translate research and client feedback into actionable insights.
• Establish feedback loops on trends and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, research, and investments on messaging.
• Develop modular content for plan sponsors, consultants, advisors.
• Contribute to firm viewpoints on retirement income and policy themes.
