Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing as daily job responsibilities.
• 1 to 5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience (benefits, wires, tax prep, loans, compliance).
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience (401(k), IRA) preferred.
• Experience with reconciliation preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s in business/finance, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare annual reporting.
• Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and administration software.
• Utilize software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting.
• Make reminder calls and send emails to clients during plan-year reporting.
• Prepare 401(k) plan government filings, including IRS Form 5500.
• Educate clients regarding administration of their 401(k) plan and documents.
