Job summary

Strongpoint Partners is hiring a Retirement Onboarding Specialist to guide new retirement plan clients through onboarding, document review, and coordination with recordkeepers and advisors. The role emphasizes interpreting complex plan provisions and delivering excellent client service.

Remote position with preference for candidates in the Atlanta area on a hybrid schedule; strong understanding of qualified plans and ERISA is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with retirement plan documents and qualified retirement plans.
• Strong understanding of ERISA and IRS regulations.
• Ability to interpret and draft retirement plan documents clearly.
• Familiarity with 401(k) design concepts and plan provisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding activities for new retirement plan clients and meet milestones.
• Maintain onboarding systems, status reports, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Review and map prior plan documents to reflect provisions in new plans.
• Prepare and coordinate plan documents, amendments, restatements, SPDs, and related materials.
• Participate in onboarding calls with clients, advisors, and teams as needed.
• Explain plan provisions clearly to clients and partners and outline options.
