Job summary

CPS Inc. is hiring a Retirement Plan Onboarding Specialist to manage the full onboarding process for retirement plans, including takeover and startup scenarios. This role is fully remote and requires 3–5 years of onboarding experience, with preference for prior remote work.

The position involves coordinating conversions, gathering plan data, and ensuring timely, compliant implementation across recordkeepers, payroll providers, and TPAs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of onboarding experience
• Experience with retirement plan onboarding
• Remote work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for takeover and startup retirement plans from case review to implementation
• Coordinate plan conversions and installations with timely completion
• Gather, review, scrub, and upload census, payroll, and plan data
• Analyze prior recordkeeper and TPA information for accurate setup
• Consult with sponsors, advisors, and internal teams on timelines and deliverables
• Develop and manage implementation timelines to keep projects on track
• Conduct kickoff and status meetings with sponsors and service providers
• Review plan provisions and setup details for compliance and accuracy
• Coordinate with recordkeepers, payroll providers, investment platforms and internal departments
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and conversion challenges
• Ensure all onboarding materials and forms are completed
