Strongpoint Partners is a tech-enabled retirement services platform seeking a Retirement Onboarding Specialist for its Finway Group partner team. The role focuses on managing onboarding from document review to coordination with recordkeepers and internal teams, ensuring accurate plan provisions and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of experience with retirement plans, strong ERISA understanding, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience with retirement plan documents and qualified retirement plans
• Strong understanding of ERISA and IRS regulations governing qualified retirement plans
• Ability to interpret and draft retirement plan documents
• Ability to explain plan provisions clearly to clients and partners

Responsabilités

• Manage onboarding activities for new retirement plan clients, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
• Maintain onboarding systems, status reports, and documentation for stakeholders
• Review and map prior plan documents to reflect provisions in the new plan
• Prepare, review, and coordinate plan documents, amendments, restatements, SPDs, and related materials
• Participate in plan provision and onboarding calls with clients, advisors, and internal teams
• Explain plan provisions and requirements clearly to clients and partners
• Identify opportunities to improve plan design and compliance
• Coordinate plan provisions with recordkeepers and documentations
• Review legal and plan documents with accuracy
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to move onboarding forward
• Identify process improvements as the business grows
• Take ownership of onboarding from initiation to completion
• Other duties as assigned
