Job summary

Strongpoint Partners seeks a Retirement Plan Documentation & Onboarding Specialist to support document preparation, review, and onboarding for new clients. You will ensure accuracy and compliance across IRS and ERISA requirements while coordinating with clients, advisors, custodians, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, cross-team collaboration, and process improvements to enhance onboarding efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retirement plan administration, plan documentation, or client onboarding preferred.
• Familiarity with qualified retirement plans (401(k), profit-sharing, defined contribution).
• Understanding of IRS/ERISA regulations related to plan documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with high accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate retirement plan documents (adoption agreements, plan documents, trust agreements).
• Manage new client onboarding workflows from document prep to implementation.
• Review documentation for accuracy, completeness and compliance with IRS/ERISA.
• Collaborate with clients, advisors, custodians, and internal teams to gather information.
• Conduct quality reviews; resolve discrepancies before finalizing documents.
• Coordinate new plan setup, custodian alignment, and implementation activities.
• Maintain digital records and track document progress across systems.
• Monitor onboarding timelines and communicate updates to stakeholders.
