Job summary

The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to provide objective guidance that aligns with the needs of plan sponsors and employees. This role involves presenting information to improve awareness of retirement plans and educating eligible employees about plan participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Series7, Series66 preferred and appropriate state insurance licenses required.
• CFP, ChFC, or similar designations desirable.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group presentations to improve awareness of plan features.
• Participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations.
• Meet with participants to educate them regarding plan participation.
• Assist with targeted education campaigns.
