Job summary

The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to provide objective guidance aligned with the needs of plan sponsors and eligible employees. The role offers an incentive bonus opportunity based on plan metrics and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include conducting presentations, enrollment meetings, and education sessions, participating in benefit fairs, and supporting campaigns to boost participation and deferral rates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Series 7, Series 66 preferred and appropriate state insurance licenses required.
• CFP, ChFC or similar designations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Present in-person or video presentations to educate plan sponsors and employees on plan features and assets.
• Lead enrollment meetings and age-based financial education sessions as requested by the plan sponsor or education plan.
• Participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations; assist with annual plan reviews and financial education planning.
• Support education campaigns to increase participation and deferral rates with Relationships Manager or District VP.
• Educate participants and eligible employees on plan participation; travel as required up to 25%.
