Job summary

The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant for a remote role. You will provide objective guidance aligned with plan sponsors and employees, with bonus opportunities based on plan metrics and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include conducting presentations, enrollment meetings, and education sessions, traveling up to 25% in the territory, and supporting education campaigns to boost participation and deferral rates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Series 7, Series 66 preferred and appropriate state insurance licenses required.
• CFP, ChFC or similar designations desirable.
• Must have excellent presentation skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group presentations to improve awareness of plan features and grow plan assets.
• Present enrollment meetings and financial literacy meetings as requested by the plan sponsor or education plan.
• Participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations.
• Assist in annual plan review and financial education planning process.
• Support Relationship Manager and District VP with targeted education campaigns to increase participation and deferral rates.
• Meet with participants and eligible employees to educate about plan participation.
• Travel may be required for new plan enrollments.
