Job summary

The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to provide guidance to plan sponsors and employees. This remote position involves conducting presentations, participating in benefit fairs, and meeting with participants to educate them about plan participation.

Successful candidates will have strong presentation skills and a background in financial planning. The role requires travel up to 25%. A competitive benefits package is offered, including medical and a 401(k) plan with a match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Series 7 and Series 66 preferred; appropriate state insurance licenses required.
• CFP, ChFC or similar designations desirable.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group presentations in person or via video technology.
• Actively participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations.
• Participate in the annual plan review and financial education planning process.
• Assist Relationship Manager with targeted education campaigns.
• Meet with participants to educate them regarding plan participation.
