Job summary

Prime Pensions, Inc. seeks a Retirement Plan Consultant to generate new business through plan sales and takeovers. You will build a client base within the APC system and cultivate a referral network of CPAs, financial planners, brokers and attorneys, while coordinating with clients, advisors and APC staff to service accounts.

You will travel as needed and deliver presentations, review plans, and ensure timely compliance with deadlines. Remote or hybrid work is possible in Chico or Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

• Three years in pension or related financial services industry.
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact; handle client calls, correspondence, resolve issues and present to employees.
• Deliver Annual Reports as necessary.
• Review invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure client information is complete and forwarded to appropriate department.
• Make plan design recommendations to clients as needed.
• Address fee collections when clients do not respond to billing.
• Ensure filing deadlines are met.
• Document client conversations in APC Gold Notes.
• Review aging reports and conduct follow-ups.
• Educate clients about APC functions and timelines.
• Sell new plans and acquire takeover clients.
• Generate and market referral sources.
• Meet budgeting/marketing goals.
• Maintain attendance requirements.
