Job summary

CPS, Inc. is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to join our Retirement Plan Services team. You will advise plan sponsors and participants, supporting enrollment, education, and ongoing plan administration from a hybrid sales/service posture.

You will partner with retirement plan advisors on prospecting, proposals, and client meetings, while ensuring fiduciary and ERISA compliance. Remote work is available, with headquarters in Massachusetts and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Active Series 65 license, or Series 7 and 66 (required)
• 2+ years of experience in the retirement plan industry
• Working knowledge of ERISA, fiduciary concepts, and plan investment oversight
• Experience with participant-facing work, such as enrollment or education meetings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfort with the sales process, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Advise Plan Sponsors
• Partner with retirement plan advisors on prospecting, proposals, presentations, and follow-up
• Prepare plan design studies, fee and vendor analyses, and investment and fiduciary-focused materials
• Join prospect, client, and distribution partner meetings
• Help sponsors understand their plan's investment lineup, fiduciary responsibilities, and compliance obligations
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships
• Participate in directly sourced plan sales under firm leadership
• Support Participants: enrollments and education meetings; answer participant questions about their plan
