Job summary

Mondelēz International in the United States is seeking a Retail Territory Manager to lead in-store execution across a broad Virginia-area territory. You will manage Direct Store Delivery, build strong customer relationships, and energize shelves with winning merchandising.

The role requires 3–5 years of selling experience, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Base pay ranges from $56,200 to $77,275 with a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required, college degree highly preferred.
• A flexible work schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
• 3-5 years of selling experience with a strong sales background.
• Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, up to 25 lbs, occasionally over 50 lbs).
• Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check.
• Mondelez International offers a company vehicle with gas card and maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Hit the Numbers: Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets by unlocking growth across assigned accounts.
• Lead with Impact: Manage and coach a team of Merchandisers from hiring to performance development.
• Drive Execution Excellence: Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store.
• Consult & Sell: Provide expert, on-site sales consultation to customers and HQ programs.
• Plan for Growth: Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics and needs.
• Build Relationships: Cultivate partnerships with store personnel to deliver top-tier service.
• Optimize Resources: Deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact and sales.
• Champion Store Success: Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management.
• Own the Cadence: Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships.
• Stay Safe & Compliant: Operate within Mondelēz’s safety guidelines.
