Job summary

Origin Bank is seeking a Retail Compliance and QC Analyst to establish and monitor deposit compliance and quality control processes, including first line of defense management. You will track federal, state, and local regulations ensuring the Retail unit complies with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, and Operational Risk teams to identify risks, measure performance with KRIs/KPIs, and prepare periodic reports. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of federal and state regulatory compliance and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret new and existing regulations affecting the Retail unit.
• Test and maintain Risk and Controls Self-Assessments (RCSA) and KRIs/KPIs.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit and Operational Risk teams to address findings and mitigate risk.
• Prepare monthly management reports on findings and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to retail staff on applicable regulations (FinCEN, BSA, FCRA, FDIC, OFAC, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg V, privacy laws, Dodd-Frank).
• Assist in testing new policy releases on deposit origination platforms.
