Job summary

Origin Bank in Alabama seeks a Retail Compliance Specialist to monitor regulatory changes and ensure adherence across our banking operations. You will coordinate RCSA, KRI and KPI activities, provide guidance to staff on FinCEN, BSA, FDIC and related laws, and collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit and Operational Risk teams to implement controls and training across the organization.

This role requires expert knowledge of federal and state laws, plus strong communication and training

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5–7 years of senior compliance experience at a large/regional bank with CFPB exposure.
Expert knowledge of federal and state regulatory compliance and related laws.
Experience with risk and controls assessments and internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance across retail banking.
Coordinate RCSA, KRI and KPI activities and report findings.
Provide guidance to retail staff on regulations including FinCEN, BSA, FDIC rules.
Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit and Operational Risk teams.
Support policy releases testing on deposit origination platforms.
