Job summary

PuroClean of Bluffdale is seeking an experienced Restoration Project Director to oversee property damage restoration projects from post-mitigation through full reconstruction completion. This role is fully remote aside from a weekly in-person production meeting and reports to the Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will own operational and financial outcomes, lead field teams and subcontractors, and ensure clear homeowner communication, accurate documentation, and disciplined budget control

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing mitigation through full reconstruction
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and subcontractors
• Excellent homeowner communication and documentation skills
• Proactive, organized leader in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Mitigation Oversight & Documentation: manage homeowner introductions within 24 hours, set expectations, approve scope changes, ensure documentation and photos are complete, coordinate with Estimator for accurate estimates.
• Reconstruction Conversion & Client Alignment: confirm homeowner intent, explain scope and timeline, maintain proactive communication through submissions and approvals, manage deductible and payment expectations.
• Reconstruction Project Execution: create work orders, allocate to subs, schedule trades, monitor timelines, ensure quality control and margins, approve invoices, handle change orders and permits.
• Financial Management & Collections: track costs vs. estimates, collect deposits and progress payments, coordinate depreciation, secure final payment and close balances.
• Closeout & Carrier Communication: send final photos and CoC to adjusters, confirm documentation and supplements, close files after payment.
