Job summary

FoodTec Solutions is seeking a customer-focused Restaurant POS Service Analyst to join our Professional Services team. This role blends restaurant operations know-how with hands-on support, onboarding, and configuration work for FoodTec systems, including POS, online ordering, loyalty, and more.

You will serve as the day-to-day liaison for restaurant clients, guiding go-lives, training staff, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring projects stay on track.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in restaurant ops or related customer-facing role
• Experience working with customers in service, support, training, or operations
• Experience with restaurant menus, menu setup, modifiers, or discovery
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with a team

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day contact for new and existing FoodTec customers
• Support customer communication through phone, email, and remote sessions
• Guide restaurant clients through onboarding, go-live support, and early adoption
• Train customers on system features, workflows, and best practices
• Help customers use core FoodTec solutions including POS, menu configuration, online ordering, loyalty
• Gather and manage discovery details needed for menu setup and configuration
• Help customers leverage upgrades and new features to improve efficiency
• Set and manage expectations around scope, timelines, and next steps
• Coordinate with managers and teammates to schedule work and keep projects moving
• Support software updates, migrations, deployments, and related projects
• Document customer needs clearly for internal communication
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts
