Job summary

Exact Solar is seeking a Solar Salesperson to independently manage residential leads in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, educate prospects on solar energy, and assemble and send compelling proposals from a home office.

The ideal candidate brings solar sales experience, top-notch communication skills, integrity, and solid solar knowledge, with a proven ability to meet sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service as an independent contractor.

Qualifications

• Prior solar sales experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to build and send proposals via email.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with leads in a timely manner; no door-knocking.
• Contact prospects by phone or email; gather property and usage data; prepare proposals and send via email.
• Conduct in-house visits if necessary and follow up.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Exact Solar products and NJ/PA policy.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience and close sales as an independent contractor.
