Job summary

The successful candidate will review budgets, assist PIs, and coordinate award setup and ongoing project administration, with opportunities for remote work where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; strong communications, analytics and organization.
• Experience with research administration or grants management preferred.
• Training in department programs and compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist PIs and Grant Managers in developing and submitting proposal budgets.
• Review applications for risk, accuracy of rates, and allowability of items proposed.
• Ensure required compliance approvals (e.g., human subjects, animal welfare, COI, export controls) are obtained.
• Review subcontractor documentation and ensure proposal packages meet sponsor requirements.
• Review awards and projects for compliance, initiate account setup for new projects, and manage award-related actions.
• Cross-train to provide coverage for both pre-award and award management.
