Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a US-remote Renewals Account Manager to join the Renewal Sales team. You will manage an existing SMB book, drive renewals, and expand relationships with Life Sciences and Healthcare customers.

You will use CRM tools to identify opportunities, deliver solution-oriented support, and forecast renewal activity. The role emphasizes collaboration with the renewals team and strategic account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ sales experience managing an SMB book and leading retention/expansion efforts.
• Experience with small to midsize pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
• 3+ years of Excel experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage proactively with customers to identify opportunities, understand needs, and deliver responsive, solution-oriented support.
• Leverage in-depth product knowledge to highlight value-added solutions that meet customer needs and drive renewal sales and initiatives.
• Execute defined renewal and retention strategies, contributing to broader comprehensive sales plans.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current products, offerings and market trends to support sales effectiveness.
• Provide regular and consistent updates and insights on renewal opportunities and deliver accurate forecasts to leadership.
• Effectively utilize sales tools and systems to manage pipelines and drive successful outcomes.
