Job summary

ABB is seeking a Consultant - Energy & Carbon Services in California to generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area. You will collaborate with operations and the internal sales consulting function to translate customer needs into ABB ECS Renewables offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or sales driven field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
• Technical knowledge of electrical engineering, EV and solar energy infrastructure preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, and digital sales tools.
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Generates service sales leads and develops new market opportunities in collaboration with senior peers.
• Uses CRM to understand the customer base and identify opportunities for additional sales.
• Markets ABB's Renewables service products and solutions through campaigns, events, and meetings.
• Translates customer needs into ABB ECS Renewables offerings and solutions.
• Supports tailored proposal development to meet customer needs and targets.
• Builds long-term customer relationships and promotes Life Cycle Management.
• Documents customer feedback and ensures satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Collaborates with Operations and Engineering to assess price, quality, and package requirements.
• Registers information in the customer database and keeps CRM updated with leads and opportunities.
• Monitors proposals and tenders; tracks proposal statistics and follows up.
