Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Consultant - Energy & Carbon Services in the United States (Utah region) to drive service sales opportunities in renewables, with emphasis on EV and solar infrastructure.

You will build long-term client relationships, translate needs into ABB ECS offerings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value. You will lead marketing and sales activities, plan weekly visits, maintain CRM pipelines, and craft tailored proposals while ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or sales-driven field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a sales-driven role.
• Technical knowledge of electrical engineering, EV and solar energy infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Salesforce and Box helpful.

Responsibilities

• Generates service sales leads and partners with senior peers to develop new market opportunities using market trends and prospecting.
• Uses company databases to understand the customer base and identifies sales opportunities within the market.
• Markets ABB Renewables service offerings and solutions through campaigns, events, and meetings.
• Translates customer needs into ABB ECS Renewables offerings and solutions.
• Supports tailored proposal generation to meet customer needs and internal targets.
• Builds long-term customer relationships by understanding requirements and promoting Life Cycle Management.
• Documents customer feedback and ensures satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinates with Operations and Engineering on price, quality, and package requirements.
• Maintains CRM with leads, opportunities, and pipeline updates.
• Monitors and updates proposals and tender status; follows up on statistics.
• Communicates contract details per ABB strategy and manages admin processes.
