Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Director of Project Engineering, Renewable Engineering, to lead the Project Engineering function across wind, solar, and hybrid projects. You will ensure consistent technical execution, manage deliverables, and coordinate with Project Management and other engineering disciplines.

The role requires 10+ years in renewable energy with 5+ years of leadership, EPC and interconnection knowledge, and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of renewable energy, power generation, or related experience.
• 5+ years leading engineers or cross-functional teams.
• Experience with utility-scale wind, solar, or BESS projects.
• Knowledge of EPC contracts, interconnection, and scope of work.
• Ability to travel 10–20% of the time.
• US work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Project Engineering for wind, solar, and hybrid projects.
• Oversee coordination with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Manage technical workstreams: drawings, RFIs, submittals, NCRs.
• Align Project Engineering with Project Management for success.
• Provide leadership as senior technical escalations.
• Support financing and due diligence with technical responses.
• Drive portfolio-level improvements to standards and processes.
