Qualifications

• University degree in engineering.
• 5 to 15 years of relevant power generation industrial experience.
• 3 years of Project Director experience.
• International project execution.
• Large Construction (EPC) and site experience.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including reference verification and background check.
• Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution Strategy: develop and implement overall strategy for project execution to achieve performance goals.
• Communication: represent GE to customer; manage interfaces and communications both internally and externally.
• Project Organization: secure resources, organize team, define roles and interfaces.
• Performance Management: monitor KPIs and take necessary actions to maximize financial, time, quality, and safety results.
• Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management: establish and monitor QP, procedures, and EHS plans.
• Claim Management: define strategy for claims and direct actions accordingly.
• Risk and Opportunities: define and update Risk Management Plan; act to benefit overall performance.
• Project Process: manage project from hand-over to completion, provide feedback to Sales and others.
• People Management: lead and coach the project team; set goals and development plans.
• Project Planning: develop and monitor Master Time Schedule and project float.
