Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Remote Housing Coordinator to coordinate customized temporary housing for displaced policyholders. You will research markets, negotiate terms, and manage leases, while maintaining empathetic, proactive service throughout relocations.

Responsibilities include client communication, data entry, and collaboration with landlords and vendors to secure quality, short-term housing options within ALE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Two years experience in leasing, real estate, customer service, or account management.
• Previous experience in insurance, temporary housing, corporate lodging, or real estate strongly preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of calming distressed clients with professionalism and compassion.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customized temporary housing solutions for displaced policyholders.
• Serve as a key point of contact for policyholders during relocation with clear expectations and empathy.
• Qualify housing needs by gathering details on lifestyle, household makeup, accessibility, pets, and amenities.
• Conduct detailed market research to locate viable housing options.
• Collaborate with housing vendors, landlords, and leasing agents to secure short-term rentals.
• Apply negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms and stay within ALE guidelines.
• Customize housing options aligned with policy coverage and insured expectations.
• Maintain high-touch service, resolve issues, and support lease extensions and furniture adjustments.
• Draft and review lease agreements and related documents.
• Enter and maintain data in housing databases, CRM systems, and internal platforms.
• Stay informed of local rental trends and landlord regulations to advise clients effectively.
• Handle multiple claims with professionalism and urgency.
• Serve as the point of contact for VIP clientele.
