Job summary

Homelink Corporation is seeking a Claims Coordinator to locate temporary housing options and coordinate accommodations for displaced policyholders. You will manage communications, document options, and liaise with carriers and vendors to arrange suitable housing.

The role is fully remote with a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Evening/weekend on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years in property management, real estate, leasing, temporary housing, or similar field.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Search and locate temporary accommodation options for displaced policyholders.
• Coordinate logistics for policyholders to view options as needed.
• Communicate with policyholders to understand temporary accommodation needs.
• Obtain carrier approval on temporary accommodation options.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, fees, and deposits for temporary housing.
• Process furniture order needs for housing claims.
• Present options for approval to the National Account Manager and update paperwork.
• Update internal databases and communicate details to all parties involved with each claim.
• Provide immediate response and support for high volume of calls.
• Support special projects and provide backup as needed.
