Job summary

Relocity, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide relocating employees through every stage of the relocation with a white-glove approach.

The role is primarily remote (60-70%), with 30-40% in-person client support throughout the city, leveraging deep local expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will manage housing and school research, arrange DMV and banking setup, and deliver tailored city reports using Relocity’s software and Google

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
• Must have at least 5 years of residency in Austin, with extensive knowledge of the local rental market, education system, and local registration processes
• Must own (not rent) a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver’s license, as the role involves driving clients for area tours and rental searches.
• Applicants should have the flexibility to dedicate at least 20 hours per week to this role without the demands of full-time employment elsewhere.
• Must be flexible and available to work weekends
• Friendly, outgoing personality, strong customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Prior personal relocation or moving assistance experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Guide relocating employees through every stage of the relocation process with a white-glove approach
• Provide expert guidance on neighborhoods, transportation options, and local culture
• Conduct housing and school research including rental trends and school ratings
• Assist with DMV registration, banking setup, and other logistical requirements
• Curate personalized recommendations for social, cultural, and lifestyle activities
• Gather and deliver customized information using Relocity’s software and Google GSuite to create tailored client reports
• Coordinate and lead area tours in person or virtually
• Maintain ongoing communication with relocating employees via phone, email, video calls, or meetings
• Serve as the primary contact throughout the relocation journey
• Efficiently manage multiple relocations at various stages
• Handle administrative responsibilities including updating client records and documenting interactions
