Job summary
VetsEZ seeks a Release Train Engineer / DevOps Systems Lead to join a 100% remote federal project team. You will guide the Agile Release Train, mentor Scrum Masters, and oversee a cross-functional DevOps team responsible for CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and platform operations for Java apps and InterSystems IRIS environments.
Qualifications include a strong SAFe background, 7+ years in large-scale software delivery with leadership in SAFe, and proficient cloud and DevOps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years in large-scale software delivery with 3+ years in RTE/Program Manager or SAFe lead role.
- Experience leading SAFe Agile Release Train across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Agile Release Train, facilitating SAFe ceremonies and backlog refinement.
- Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on SAFe principles and flow.
- Drive program-level execution, track PI objectives, and manage risks and dependencies.
- Collaborate with Product Management and System Architects to align roadmaps and program backlog.
- Lead DevOps Systems Team for CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and platform services.
- Prioritize team backlog balancing feature delivery, reliability, and automation.
