Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a HealthShare Engineer for a fully remote role supporting a federal healthcare modernization project. The engineer will work in Agile/DevOps, focusing on HealthShare, IRIS, and middleware operations across cloud environments.

The candidate will automate deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and provide Tier 3 production support. Strong experience with InterSystems products and cloud platforms is required, with U.S. citizenship and clearance readiness preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, with 3-5 years of IT and/or federal contracting experience.
• Hands-on experience with InterSystems Caché, IRIS, or HealthShare, including configuring and supporting large middleware applications.
• Experience automating infrastructure, application testing, and deployments using Jenkins, Ansible, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience building CI/CD processes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) including monitoring with CloudWatch or equivalents.
• Knowledge of Unix and Apache, DevOps practices, and SAFe Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to automate operations and streamline software delivery.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support backup, recovery, patching, and SSO integration.
• Manage certificates and updates across production and lower environments.
• Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications and related technologies.
• Install, configure, patch InterSystems base software and middleware components.
• Support OAuth and SSO configurations across environments.
