Innovative Tech Solutions Inc in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead SAFe Agile program delivery at our Washington, DC location. You will serve as the servant leader and coach for an Agile Release Train, driving continuous improvement and delivering value at scale.

You will collaborate with teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners, facilitate PI Planning and ART ceremonies, track delivery metrics, manage risks, and report status to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Release Train Engineer or Agile Program Manager.
• Deep knowledge of SAFe, Agile, Lean principles.
• Proven ability to facilitate PI Planning for large-scale Agile Release Trains.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead ART ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
• Coach teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners on SAFe principles and Agile best practices
• Drive program-level execution, tracking delivery metrics, risks, and dependencies across the ART
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team performance and program flow
• Coordinate cross-team collaboration to ensure alignment on program goals and release objectives
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and data-driven decision making
• Communicate ART status, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and leadership

Requirements:

• SAFe RTE certification or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification strongly preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or Agile Program Manager
• Deep knowledge of SAFe framework, Agile methodologies, and Lean principles
• Proven ability to facilitate PI Planning and manage large-scale Agile Release Trains
• Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
