Job summary

Nationwide Financial is seeking a Senior Institutional Relationship Manager to manage a defined list of retirement plans, engaging with plan sponsors, advisors, and committees to drive profitability and adoption of Nationwide products.

The role covers portions of the Eastern United States, with extensive travel within the territory. Strong relationship management and industry knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 years in the financial services industry, with at least 3 years focused on retirement plans.
• Experience managing relationships with plan sponsors and advisor/consultants of retirement plans is required.
• Experience leading matrixed team of associates to deliver on client objectives and goals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, grow and retain profitable relationships with mid-market plan sponsors, advisors/consultants, and other service providers.
• Lead the integrated service team by coordinating business support functions.
• Conduct annual to quarterly Committee Meetings to discuss Plan Health and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to increase profitability through Nationwide Advantage Products.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce the cost to service the book.
