Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Regional Wholesaler to drive retirement plan sales with financial intermediaries and sponsors across multiple states. You will educate IPs on retirement products and support meetings with prospective clients.

The role requires 5+ years in 401(k) or retirement plan sales, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, and ongoing licensing compliance; travel is weekly while remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in 401(k)/retirement plan business with advisor-driven market preferred.
• Experience in investment professional, internal or external wholesaler, field servicing or other relationship management role in the financial services industry.
• Strong interpersonal and written skills to interact with company officers, brokers, and partners.
• Excellent group presentation skills for audiences up to 200 people.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Siebel CRM.

Responsibilities

• Sell Nationwide retirement plan investment products through financial intermediaries to retirement plan sponsors.
• Educate IPs on all aspects of retirement plan business and assist at meetings with prospective customers.
• Assist in asset retention and servicing, including field visits and coordination with corporate office.
• Participate in field committees, company conference calls, and virtual meetings.
