Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Regional Wholesaler for Retirement Solutions to drive growth by promoting retirement plan products through financial intermediaries across multiple states. The role requires building advisor relationships, coordinating with administrators, and supporting Investment Professionals in prospecting and closing opportunities.

The position is remote with frequent travel (3–4 days/week, 1–2 nights).

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in 401(k)/retirement plan business or advisor-driven sales.
• FINRA Series 6/7/63/65 and Life/Annuity licenses required; CLU/ChFC/CFP or ASPPA preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written skills for interactions with financial intermediaries and executives.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and builds relationships with advisors and third-party administrators to promote Nationwide products.
• Assists Investment Professionals in identifying and marketing to prospects; educates IPs on retirement plan business.
• Coordinates with administrators to prepare proposals, presentations and closing paperwork; supports IP meetings.
• Promotes Nationwide products and services to drive profitable growth within the territory.
• Manages field participation in conferences and group meetings; contributes to national and regional meetings.
