Job summary

Ecowize USA is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee sanitation operations across multiple facilities within a designated region. You will coach Site Managers, drive safety and quality standards, and partner with Engineering, Quality, HR, and Finance to optimize performance.

Remote within the designated region with up to 80% travel, you will manage budgets, KPIs, and staffing, while fostering accountability and continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in management, in food manufacturing sanitation and production environments.
• Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and Master Sanitation Programs.
• Safety protocols knowledge including LOTO and HAZCOM.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required for effective leadership across diverse teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; adaptable to new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation operations across multiple facilities within a designated region.
• Coach Site Managers to build high-performing teams aligned with safety and food quality standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive performance, resolve issues, and implement best practices.
• Ensure readiness for audits and support corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, labor usage, and resource allocation to meet company and client goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and frontline engagement.
