Job summary

Ecowize is seeking an Area Manager (Sanitation) to oversee multiple sites across a designated region. You will lead Site Managers, ensure compliance with USDA/FDA, and drive safety, quality, and performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage budgets, KPIs, and cross‑functional initiatives with Engineering, Quality, HR, and Finance, while coaching teams and delivering auditable, high‑quality sanitation programs across client locations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in management in food manufacturing sanitation and production environments.
• Familiarity with USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and Master Sanitation Programs.
• Safety leadership including LOTO and HAZCOM.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required for effective communication and leadership across diverse teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation operations across multiple facilities to deliver high-quality, compliant service.
• Coach and develop Site Managers to build high-performing teams aligned with safety and food quality standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance) to drive performance, resolve issues, and implement best practices.
• Ensure readiness for audits and support corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, labor usage, and resource allocation to meet company and client goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and frontline engagement.
