Job summary

Amphenol RF is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast, a remote position ideally located near a major metro area with airport access. The role requires up to 50% travel to manage key accounts, reps, and distributors while driving regional growth and budgeting in collaboration with Sales Leadership.

Candidates should have an engineering degree and 5–8 years of related sales experience in electronics/communication industries, excellent communication skills, and self-motivation to work

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred plus five to eight years of related sales experience in electronic components/communication industry
• Excellent verbal, written and computer skills required
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual regional sales goals
• Plan and manage the sales effort for the Southeast region
• Maintain contact with major accounts and develop new targets
• Supervise and evaluate activities of reps and contractors in territory
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to establish annual regional budget
• Provide accurate forecasting in a timely manner
• Manage sales performance and visibility via CRM
• Build a new customer base by prospecting and closing new names in territory
• Review monthly rep firm activities and coordinate with internal teams
• Suggest design, pricing, or policy changes to improve sales
• Provide status updates of regional activities as required
• Control expenses appropriate to performance and territory
