Jobot is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for 100% remote work with focus on California, in the food/protein sector. You will drive growth, manage regional accounts, and lead a sales team with aggressive commission potential.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in food sales, strong leadership and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting targets. You will collaborate with marketing, forecast sales, and expand opportunities while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in food sales, protein sector.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Experience leading a high-performing sales team.
• Deep understanding of ethnic markets and regional accounts.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and ability to build large accounts.
• Customer service oriented with a solution mindset.
• Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the assigned region.
• Identify and target key accounts in the food/protein sector, incl. ethnic markets.
• Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships and understand needs.
• Negotiate and close deals with large customers while guiding the sales process.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for senior management.
• Stay current with product launches and onboard the sales team.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure proper brand representation.
• Address problems promptly and propose solutions.
• Participate in expansion or acquisition decisions.
