Job summary

NOV Fiberglass Systems is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive profitable sales growth across the Rockies and Canada regions. You will manage strategic accounts, develop proposals, and provide technical guidance while traveling nationally and internationally.

The role requires 3+ years in technical sales, strong communication skills, and a passport. It is a remote, home-based position with significant travel and a base salary in a broad 80k–120k USD range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales working with engineers, architects, etc.
• Knowledge of the downstream petroleum industry is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• General understanding of how environmental regulations are enforced in the petroleum and water markets.
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
• Must have a valid passport.
• Candidate must satisfy all internal driver eligibility requirements, including compliance with company policies, licensing standards, and driving record criteria.
• Requires good organizational and computer skills to prepare presentations, maintain customer files, prepare management reports, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains a good working relationship with customers by providing technical assistance, entertaining, and frequent personal contact with customers’ upper-level management.
• Develops and presents proposals to customers to solicit sales of Fiber Glass Systems products.
• Provides technical guidance and sales support whenever necessary.
• Prepares forecast and budget for territory and monitors progress on a regular basis.
• Stays abreast of competitors’ products and services and assists in developing market and pricing strategy.
• Assists in preparing job specifications and in making presentations to various industrial, governmental, and code officials.
