Job summary

Master Meter is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to develop a territory within Northern California and advance our market share in municipal accounts across the United States.

You will lead sales strategies, manage a team of RSMs and distributor partners, and drive growth through direct utility sales and robust forecasting. This role requires a proven sales track record, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of strategic sales experience in municipal or government sectors.
• Proven track record of sales success leveraging distributor channels.
• Strong forecasting and market analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with RSMs, distributors, and water utility companies.
• Support RSMs and distributors with business plan development, training, and warranty support.
• Establish direct utility sales in market areas when not covered by distribution channels.
• Manage future sales pipeline and provide accurate data for forecasting.
• Build trusted relationships with distributors and utility representatives at multiple levels.
• Represent Master Meter at national and regional trade shows.
• Maintain records of sales activity in Salesforce.
