Job summary

SAERTEX GmbH seeks a Regional Sales Manager for Composites. This role is fully remote with substantial travel (70–75%), and requires coordinating with customers and internal teams to deliver advanced composite solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in composites or industrial manufacturing with a consultative sales background, strong communication, and a track record of growing market share. Occasional travel to the Huntersville NC office may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the composites industry or industrial manufacturing, with textile experience.
• Proven experience in technical or consultative sales.
• Strong business development and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated success growing sales and increasing market share.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop strategic sales plans and manage multiple customer accounts.
• Bachelor's degree in Composite Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid passport and ability to travel internationally when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through a consultative sales approach.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
• Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, inventory requirements, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Production to ensure customer success.
• Educate customers on new products and product enhancements.
• Represent SAERTEX at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer activity, and market intelligence.
