Job summary

German American Chambers of Commerce is seeking a Technical Sales & Applications Manager – Advanced Composites to drive customer applications and commercial opportunities across North America, with 50–70% travel and remote work options.

You'll work with OEMs, fabricators, and engineers to understand material requirements, support evaluation and qualification, and develop new business for prepregs and advanced composites.

Qualifications

• Experience with advanced composites and prepregs.
• Understanding of carbon fiber and thermoset materials.
• Experience working with customers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand material, processing, performance, and application requirements.
• Identify and develop new customer opportunities for prepregs and advanced composites across North America.
• Support material selection, sampling, testing, trials, qualification, specification, and commercialization.
• Build relationships with OEMs, fabricators, processors, distributors, engineers, and tech decision-makers.
• Translate customer challenges into technical and commercial opportunities in collaboration with engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop new accounts and qualified pipeline.
• Support technical presentations, quotations, proposals, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate customer projects with colleagues across North America and Europe.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
