Job summary

Dräger is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for a remote role covering the Metro New York, New Jersey, Eastern PA, Delaware, Maryland and Northern Virginia. You will drive new business development and expand the installed base with existing customers, including service contracts.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering or science, have 4 years’ experience in process control or instrumentation sales, and are proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited university.
• 4 years’ experience selling process control solutions / analysers or instrumentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
• Must reside within the covered territory.

Responsibilities

• Build Draeger Fire and Gas Detection Systems business in the assigned geographic territory.
• Develop an annual sales plan and apply territory management techniques to maximize productivity.
• Identify, manage and drive manufacturer’s representatives as necessary within the territory.
• Grow the installed base with existing customers including service contracts.
