Job summary

Draeger, Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive Fire and Gas Detection Systems sales across the Metro New York, New Jersey, Eastern PA, Delaware, Maryland and Northern Virginia regions.

This remote role requires residency in the covered territory and up to 50% travel. The ideal candidate has a engineering or scientific background with 4 years in process control/instrumentation sales and professional credentials.

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience selling process control solutions / analysers or instrumentation.
• Professional Engineer status or certification.
• Member of recognized professional body for control / instrumentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
• Must be able to perform routine arithmetic calculations and understand pricing structures and gross margin.
• Must reside within the covered territory and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Build Draeger Fire and Gas Detection Systems business in the assigned territory.
• Develop new business with target customers and grow the installed base including service contracts.
• Identify, manage and drive manufacturer representatives within the territory.
• Develop an annual sales plan and apply territory management techniques.
• Remote position with requirement to reside in covered territory and travel up to 50%.
