Job summary

Draeger is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for the Fire and Gas Detection Systems segment. The role is remote with coverage across Metro New York, New Jersey, Eastern PA, Delaware, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. You will drive new business, expand the installed base, and manage representatives in the territory.

Requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or science, PE status, and CRM/Microsoft Office proficiency. Travel up to 50% and residence within the covered territory are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science from an accredited university.
• Certified or Professional Engineer status.
• Member of recognized professional body for control/instrumentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Must be able to perform routine arithmetic calculations and understand pricing structures and gross margin.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
• Must reside within the covered territory.
• Process Instrumentation and Controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build Draeger Fire and Gas Detection Systems business in the assigned territory through new business development.
• Grow installed base with existing customers including service contracts.
• Identify, manage and drive manufacturer’s representatives within the territory.
• Develop an annual sales plan and conduct territory management to maximize productivity.
• Engage target end-users and prioritize opportunities to maximize profitability.
