Job summary

Draeger, Inc. is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for Portable Gas Detection/Respiratory Protection to cover Arizona and California. This remote role requires travel up to 50% and focuses on developing new business and growing the installed base with service contracts.

You will lead value selling, handle complex bids, and coordinate with internal resources to meet customer needs. A 5+ year industrial sales background and a Bachelor's degree are required, with strong CRM and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical related discipline from an accredited university.
• 5+ years selling within the Industrial Market (Oil, Gas, Food, Manufacturing, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Builds and manages regional sales in Arizona and California through direct and indirect channels.
• Develops annual sales plans and territory management to maximize productivity.
• Handles distributor networks, quotes, and price negotiations as needed.
• Conducts pre-call research to identify decision makers and influencers; promotes value over price.
• Coordinates with internal teams for complex product solutions and service agreements.
• Maintains CRM records, manages expenses within budget, and oversees consignment equipment.
