Job summary

MCR Safety Group, a Bunzl company, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Retail Channel to drive revenue growth through field sales, distributor relationships, and end-user engagement. This remote/territory role emphasizes strong retail channel execution, account planning, and market expansion.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years in outside sales within PPE/retail, plus a proven ability to travel and manage complex distributor networks across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of outside sales experience, preferably in retail/safety/industrial channels.
• Experience selling through distributors, dealers, buying groups, and retail cooperatives.
• Strong account planning, pipeline development, and territory execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas and territory performance objectives.
• Develop and execute annual/quarterly territory business plans.
• Manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and end-user customers.
• Conduct regular field calls to support account growth and product adoption.
• Identify and close new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Support retail channel execution with presentations, promotions, and training.
• Collaborate with distributor/dealer teams to boost product visibility and sell-through.
• Maintain product knowledge across PPE categories and portfolio.
